Q: Is it free to join these survey websites?

A: Yes, I have researched each company and they are totally free to join.

Q: Am I obligated to stay a member for a set amount of time?

A: No. You may cancel your membership at any time at any of these websites listed.

Q: How much does each survey pay?

A: That depends on the website you are taking the survey through, the length of the survey, etc. Most survey invitations will tell you how much you will be paid before you take the survey. Most surveys pay between $1-$10 and I would say on average most survey invitations are around $3.

Q: Can I get paid for referring others to these websites?

A: Some places will pay you to do this and some places won’t. It depends on each website. Some places will allow you to send e-mails to friends inviting them to join and if they join through your e-mail you will be compensated. Other places will give you a link you can use and some places you need to apply to be an affiliate to be able to refer others. If you wish to tell a friend about the places I have found, but do not want to go through the hassle of inviting or referring them yourself, feel free to give them the link to my website.

Q: Why do they all ask for my information when I join?

A: All of the websites, for the most part, will ask you for your age, birth date, household income, etc. This is so they know which surveys you qualify for and which ones you don’t. Sometimes the people conducting the survey are looking for a certain age group, or a certain location, etc. Please read each websites’ Privacy Policy before joining to see how you are protected. If you are not comfortable with it, don’t join. I did spend time researching these places and I personally am comfortable with their Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions, but you need to be comfortable with them if you are going to be a member. I strongly urge you to read both of these before joining each site because you will be held accountable by them. So don’t just take my word for it, make sure you yourself are comfortable with it.

Q: Why do I sometimes get interrupted during my survey and am told I don’t qualify?

A: Normally this will occur early on during the survey. It may be you are not the correct age, location, etc. that they are looking for. It could also be because you did not answer one of the first questions the way they needed you to for you to be useful to their research. For example, if the survey is about buying or leasing a new vehicle and you answer a question saying you don’t plan to do this any time in the near future, you will not qualify for the survey.

Q: When I receive a survey invitation, why does it say I will receive X amount of "points" instead of dollars?

A: Some of these websites are in several different countries, so it is easier for them to set up a points system for each country and then they convert it to our monetary system before sending you your check.

Q: How do I know how many points equal how many dollars?

A: Each website that offers a point system has it set up differently. So you will need to look around at each website to find out.

Q: Why did you set up this website?

A: While I was spending time researching and trying to find legitimate survey websites, I got tired of finding places that claimed they had all of the legitimate places listed and then I would find another website just like it, but each website had listed different survey sites. I also often found out while trying to sign up that it did cost money to join to even get the list or to join certain websites. I decided to find a bunch of places myself that were legitimate. Plus I knew that a lot of people I knew would be interested in this and there were probably a lot of others out there who were spending hours trying to find the good sites. So I decided to just make a simple website sharing the places I had found to help other people. Plus this helps me out also because for some of the websites I am paid to refer others.
